About this opportunity
The United States Property & Fiscal Officer (USPFO) for the District of Columbia is conducting a Sources Sought Notice for lodging and meal services to support the Army Birthday Parade in Washington DC. The Army National Guard is seeking commercial solutions to accommodate service members, specifically requiring lodging for multiple groups during June 2025. Key contract requirements include providing accommodations for 280 service members from 12-16 June and another 275 service members from 13-16 June, with proximity to the National Mall (within 30 miles) and specific lodging amenities such as environmental control, shower facilities, and meal services. The procurement will be conducted using FAR PART 13 Procedures and evaluated as a best value procurement, considering both price and other factors. Interested vendors must submit a response by May 19, 2025, including their CAGE Code, business size, socioeconomic designation, capability statement, proof of concept, and similar federal contract references.
This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, targeting smaller commercial entities capable of providing lodging and meal services. The contract requires vendors to provide four to five nights of accommodations, including hot breakfast, bag lunch, and hot dinner for service members. Contractors must be able to manage multiple locations, with a preference for minimizing the number of sites to enhance command and control. While specific award value is not disclosed, the requirement involves housing and feeding approximately 555 service members across two distinct groups. The timeline is tight, with a contract award needed no later than the event dates in June 2025. Interested parties are directed to contact the Contracting Officer, LTC Paul Caldwell, via military email for any inquiries or to express interest in the opportunity.
