About this opportunity
The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) has issued a Special Notice announcing an Industry Day for the Service Craft and Boat (SCB) Multiple Award Contract (MAC). This virtual event is scheduled for December 10, 2025, at 1100 Eastern Standard Time and will be conducted via Microsoft Teams. The Industry Day is designed to provide interested respondents with preliminary, high-level information regarding the Government's planning activities for a contemplated Multi-Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The notice explicitly clarifies that this event is for informational and planning purposes only in accordance with FAR 15.201 and does not constitute a solicitation or commit the Government to any contractual actions. All information shared during the Industry Day is pre-decisional, subject to change, and will be superseded by the formal solicitation once released.
The primary objective of this Industry Day is to facilitate communication between the Government and potential contractors regarding the upcoming IDIQ contract for United States Navy and Foreign Military Sales aluminum and steel boats. Attendance is voluntary and not required for future solicitation participation. The Government will not accept live questions during the event; instead, respondents must submit written questions after the Industry Day using the standardized Industry Questionnaire template provided with this posting. Questions submitted outside this template may be returned without action, and respondents must clearly mark and identify any proprietary information or trade secrets in their submissions, as the Government will treat all information as business sensitive and will not be liable for unmarked confidential information. The set-aside designation for this opportunity is listed as Partial Small Business, indicating reserved capacity for qualifying small business entities.
