About this opportunity
The U.S. Forest Service Tonto National Forest is seeking a contractor to supply and install one new 22-ton air conditioning unit at the Roosevelt Lake Visitor Center in Arizona. The existing Lennox air conditioning unit that services the conference room requires complete replacement after varmints chewed through wiring, causing the compressor to burn out and fail when activated. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and incidentals necessary for the complete removal of the existing unit and installation of the new system. The solicitation will be evaluated based on price, past performance, experience, and best value to the government. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for September 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with offers due by 1:00 PM EDT on September 2, 2025. Offerors must maintain active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) and submit price proposals, representations and certifications, and documentation of past performance and experience.
This procurement is designated as a 100% small business set-aside under NAICS code 238220 (Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors) with a size standard of $19 million. The contract will be structured as a firm fixed price purchase order with payment processed through IPP.gov upon project completion. The project is expected to commence immediately upon award, with installation required within 30 days of contract award.
