About this opportunity

This federal contract opportunity is for the replacement of air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), and related equipment in the Weather Building at Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi. The acquisition is being issued by the Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command. The contractor will be required to remove and replace four AHUs, four variable frequency drives, and five FCUs in accordance with the provided specifications and drawings. This acquisition is being issued as a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) certified small business set-aside.

Enter price in Section B. All amendments to this solicitation (if any) must be acknowledged.

An organized site visit has been set for Wednesday, 14 August, 2024 at 2:30pm CDT. In order to gain access to the base to attend the site visit you must have a valid driver’s license/identification card, valid registration for any vehicle you will be operating, and proof of insurance. Contractors are no longer able to enter the base via the south side entrance of the Contracting Office for site visits. Specific instructions are identified in 52.236-27 Site Visit (Construction).

NOTICE TO OFFERORS: Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date for receipt of proposals. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
