About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command, specifically the 366 Contracting Squadron (366 CONS) at Mountain Home AFB, is conducting market research to identify potential contractors capable of relocating office furniture. The primary requirement involves moving approximately 15,000 pounds or 178 pieces of office furniture, equipment, and supplies over a two-mile paved road. This sources sought announcement is designed to determine the availability and capabilities of qualified businesses interested in performing the relocation services. The NAICS code for this opportunity is 484210 (Used Household and Office Goods Moving), with a small business size standard of $34 million. Interested vendors are requested to submit company information including SAM UEI, Cage Code, and small business status to the points of contact: SrA Alexsia Best (Alexsia.best@us.af.mil) and Mr. Dan Parks (daniel.parks.14@us.af.mil) by the response deadline of June 19, 2025.

The contract opportunity is set aside as a total small business competition, which means only small businesses are eligible to compete for the award. While no specific award value is currently disclosed, the government anticipates issuing a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation on sam.gov in the future. The two-mile relocation distance suggests a relatively straightforward moving project that could be completed within a short timeframe. Potential vendors should note that this is a market research effort and does not guarantee a future contract award. The solicitation falls under the PSC category V301 for Transportation/Travel/Relocation, specifically focusing on office relocation services. Contractors interested in this opportunity should carefully review the requirements and ensure they meet the small business qualifications before submitting their information.
