About this file

This is a Sources Sought Announcement for the relocation of government property at Mountain Home Air Force Base (AFB) in Idaho. The 366 Contracting Squadron (366 CONS) is conducting market research to identify potential business sources capable of moving approximately 15,000 lbs/178 pieces of office furniture, equipment, and supplies over a two-mile paved road. The requirement falls under NAICS code 484210 "Used Household and Office Goods Moving" with a small business size standard of $34 million.

The document solicits responses from interested vendors to help determine the viability of setting aside the competition for small businesses. Potential vendors are requested to submit their company information, including SAM UEI, Cage Code, and small business status, to the points of contact: SrA Alexsia Best (Alexsia.best@us.af.mil) and Mr. Dan Parks (daniel.parks.14@us.af.mil). The government anticipates issuing a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation on sam.gov, but emphasizes that this is a market research effort only and not a commitment to ultimately award a contract.
