About this opportunity

Contractors must provide all labor, materials, and services to maintain portable toilets in safe operating condition, including twice-daily servicing, cleaning, restocking, and rapid response to issues like graffiti removal. Quotes will be evaluated based on price, specification compliance, and vendor location, with a specific requirement that bidders be registered in SAM and located within 150 miles of Capitol Reef National Park. The solicitation requires specific liability insurance coverage of $100,000 per person, $500,000 per occurrence, and $100,000 for property damage. Quotes are due by December 19, 2024 at 2:00 PM MST, with the contracting officer being Kimberly Steele and the technical point of contact Matthew Mackay.

The contract will cover a base period from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025, with four potential one-year option periods extending through December 31, 2028. The service requires 12 regular portable toilet units and 1 ADA-compliant unit, with service frequencies ranging from 56-70 services per month depending on seasonal visitation levels. Monthly service will be most intensive during peak months of May, June, August, and November, requiring 70 services per month. The site-specific requirements include maintaining uniform toilet color and style, providing safety and spill plans, following OSHA regulations, and maintaining detailed service records.
