About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command is seeking a Firm-Fixed Price service contract for maintenance of oil/water separators, grease traps, lift stations, and wastewater treatment systems at Luke Air Force Base. The procurement will involve comprehensive bioremediation services, including microbe injection treatments, system monitoring, cleaning, and pumping services across multiple facility infrastructure components. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, labor, and materials, including automated dosing systems and tracking materials through the base hazardous material system. Performance objectives for the successful vendor include reducing baseline pumping requirements, maintaining 85% equipment functionality, and achieving 100% compliance with disposal regulations. The solicitation is currently in the pre-solicitation phase, with the government intending to post the full solicitation within one day of the notice, and proposals will be due by January 6, 2025.
The contract is specifically designated as a 100% Women-Owned Small Business set-aside, with a base period of 12 months and four potential option years. The work will be performed primarily during normal operating hours of 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona. The procurement falls under NAICS category 562998 for Miscellaneous Waste Management Services and PSC category S222 for Housekeeping Waste Treatment/Storage. While specific budget ranges were not disclosed in the pre-solicitation notice, the comprehensive maintenance requirements suggest a substantial service contract covering fiscal years 2025-2029. The contractor will need to demonstrate capabilities in environmental service management, specialized waste treatment techniques, and strict regulatory compliance to be competitive in this procurement opportunity.
