About this opportunity

The Department of the Interior's Interior Business Center is seeking a contractor to provide bonded aggregate cleaning, resin overcoat application, and spot repair services at the Arlington House, The Robert E. Lee Memorial. The work includes vacuuming, cleaning, and applying a urethane sealcoat to approximately 25,000 square feet of existing resin-bound aggregate, as well as performing up to 100 square feet of full-depth repairs. Quotes will be evaluated on a lowest price, technically acceptable basis. The period of performance is from December 1, 2024 to March 1, 2025, and the work is to be divided into 4 phases to maintain access to the buildings throughout the project.

This contract opportunity is a 100% small business set-aside. The government has determined that only brand name or equal products can meet the required specifications, which include specific performance criteria for load bearing capacity, porosity, and UV resistance. The estimated cost for the project is $37,500. The work will be performed at the Arlington House, The Robert E. Lee Memorial site in Washington, D.C.

Lee memorial as represented in the Specifications. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2024-03, as of February 23, 2024.
