About this opportunity

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is seeking contractors to construct a Munitions Storage Area (MSA) at Powidz Air Base in Poland. The project involves building 56 earth-covered magazines, supporting maintenance buildings, and other infrastructure with a total value between $100 million and $250 million. The anticipated construction period is 1,020 calendar days after the notice to proceed. Interested contractors must submit capability statements by June 10, 2024 demonstrating their bonding capacity, relevant past performance, and other qualifications. The government plans to release the solicitation around September/October 2024 and award the contract in April/May 2025.

This will be an unrestricted contract open to all eligible firms registered and incorporated in NATO member nations. Small and small disadvantaged business requirements have been waived due to the overseas (OCONUS) location. There are no known incumbent contractors, and this appears to be a new requirement rather than a recompete. The government has not identified any set-aside designations for this acquisition.
