About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command, through the 87th Security Forces Squadron at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, seeks procurement, custom integration, testing, and delivery of one fully integrated, brand-neutral 6' x 12' enclosed mobile command-and-control trailer to support Unmanned Aircraft System operations, search-and-rescue missions, perimeter surveillance, and incident command capabilities, with proposals due September 15, 2026 at 12:00 PM EST and questions due September 4, 2026 at 12:00 PM EST. This is a 100% small business set-aside with no HUBZone, WOSB, EDWOSB, SDVOSB, or 8(a) designation; a 10% price preference applies to HUBZone small business concerns that do not waive it.
Place of performance is Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. NAICS code 336212 (Truck Trailer Manufacturing) with 1,000-employee size standard; PSC 2330 (Trailers). The trailer must feature minimum 84-inch interior ceiling height, full insulation with sound-deadening properties, climate control, slip-resistant flooring, low-glare finishes, and tactical lighting including red night-vision compatible lights. Electrical systems must include dual power sources (shore and onboard generator). The flight command station requires dual 27-inch HD monitors, a weatherproof exterior media bay with 32-inch daylight-readable monitor (minimum 2,500-nits brightness), integrated central technology tower with active thermal cooling, complete HVAC, and all equipment must demonstrate 100% functionality with zero failures through 2-hour full-load runtime testing, zero electrical faults meeting National Electrical Code standards, and zero moisture infiltration verified by water-spray testing. Delivery is required within 60 calendar days from receipt of order. Award uses Lowest Price Technically Acceptable methodology; technical acceptability is evaluated only for the lowest priced proposal. Contractor must provide engineering and layout concept review within 15 calendar days of award, one full day in-person integrated systems training covering up to four operators, and technical documentation package. Contractor bears all transportation, freight, insurance, and rigging costs; government assumes custody only after on-site inspection, acceptance testing, and operator training completion. All contractor personnel require installation access credentials obtained through criminal history and wants/warrants background checks; personnel with daily access require Defense Biometrics Identification System cards. Submission requires completed SF 1449 blocks 12, 17, and 30, Representations and Certifications, CAGE Code, UEI Number, and two separate quote documents (complete unredacted and redacted for public release).
