About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers file for federal contracting solicitation FA448426Q0043 for a Mobile Command Post, dated 8 September 2026. The Q&A clarifies three key requirements for offerors.

The government clarified that the Mobile Command Post trailer will not include a simulator, as the procurement is not for simulation purposes. Regarding delivery schedule, offerors must use 60 calendar days after receipt of order (ARO) for both pricing and technical compliance proposals, superseding the 120-day delivery period referenced in the Instructions to Offerors. The government confirmed it will accept Brand Name or Equal submissions for proposed equipment and components.
