About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force issued a Second Call for Submissions under the Kronos Family of Systems Commercial Solutions Opening on August 4, 2026, with Phase 1A submissions due by 1700 Pacific Time on August 26, 2026. The notice seeks Phase 1A packages (Quad Chart and White Paper) under Area of Interest 4—Mission Support Services, with no set-aside applied.
FAS #1 (AOI 04-FAS01) requests innovative commercial products and services that simplify software configuration, deployment, integration, operation, and iteration across the Kronos FoS. Target capabilities include low-code and no-code development platforms, integration services, automated continuous delivery, platform observability and health monitoring, operational analytics, configuration management, automated incident response, and resilient platform operations. Solutions should reduce Government integration complexity, shorten time-to-field, and lower compliance and management burden while enabling a scalable, modular, and interoperable software ecosystem.
FAS #2 (AOI 04-FAS02) seeks commercial products and services that automate execution of the Risk Management Framework and compress authorization timelines across all six RMF steps, including system categorization, control implementation, continuous assessment, security documentation and POA&M management, continuous monitoring with real-time risk visibility, and cyber analytics. Solutions may employ artificial intelligence or machine learning.
Offerors may respond to one or both FAS independently, propose solutions addressing a subset of identified capabilities, and submit separate Phase 1A packages for each FAS. Existing awards under other Kronos AOIs do not preclude eligibility. Rough Order of Magnitude cost estimates are not required in Phase 1A unless specifically requested. All administrative, legal, evaluation, and submission requirements are contained in the governing Kronos FoS CSO document (Notice ID FA8806-26-S-0001, dated July 1, 2026). Heather Baldwin, CIV, DAF, is the Agreements Officer.
