  Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.


This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation/notice; responses/quotes are being requested, further written solicitation will not be issued.


The 90th Contracting Squadron is issuing this combined synopsis/solicitation, Kitchen Hoods and Hazmat Fire Suppression Systems, as a Request for Quote using FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Item, FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation.


The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price Commercial Award. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-83 effective 3-Aug-15, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement DPN 20150626 effective 26-Jun-15 and Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement AFAC 2015-0406 effective 6-Apr-15 .


The scope of work primarily consists of, but is not limited to, providing all personnel, labor, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to provide semi-annual inspection and maintenance, and emergency repair kitchen hoods and hazmat fire suppression systems located at F.E. Warren AFB and fifteen Missile Alert Facilities (MAFs) in located in Colorado, Nebraska and Wyoming. The period of performance shall consist of a base year and two (2) option years.


This proposed contract is being set aside as 100% small business set aside. The government is interested in all small businesses including 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service Disabled Veteran Owed Small Business, Women Owed Small Business, and Small Disadvantaged Business that are interested in performing this requirement.
