About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command is seeking a small business contractor to provide comprehensive maintenance services for 49 Kubota Utility Vehicles (KUVs) located across Joint Base San Antonio, Texas. The contract will require mobile maintenance services designed to ensure the serviceability and safe operation of these vehicles, with work performed in strict accordance with the Performance Work Statement, manufacturer's instructions, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Contractors must have an ASE Level 2 Certified Technician to be eligible for the opportunity. The solicitation (Number FA301625R0047) is currently in pre-solicitation phase, with a response deadline of June 13, 2025. While specific evaluation criteria are not detailed in the documents, the contract will likely assess technical capability, maintenance expertise, and compliance with specified service requirements.
The contract is 100% set aside for small businesses and is structured as a five-year contract with one base year and four subsequent ordering periods, running from August 1, 2025 to July 31, 2030. The total contract will cover maintenance and repair services for the 49 Civil Engineering KUVs using mobile maintenance approaches. Contractors will be expected to provide all necessary management, tools, supplies, equipment, parts, and labor to perform required maintenance services. The contracting office is located at 1655 Selfridge Avenue, JBSA Lackland, TX 78236, with primary contacts being Contracting Officer J. Leuellen and Contracting Specialist Theresa Viveros. While specific budget ranges are not disclosed, the complexity of maintaining 49 vehicles across a military installation suggests a substantial service contract opportunity.
