About this opportunity

This is a two-month, firm-fixed price contract valued under solicitation number 36C25625Q1534, classified under NAICS code 811210 for Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The contract requires replacing AC Power Printed Circuit Board Assemblies in Neptune 3 Rover medical waste management systems with upgraded 120/100 Vac Power PCBAs to address potential fire hazards. The work will be performed on nine specific equipment units at the medical center. The VA has justified this as a sole source procurement because Stryker is the original equipment manufacturer and the only authorized service provider capable of performing these specialized upgrades.

Interested contractors have until September 24, 2025 at 1:00 PM Central Time to submit responses to this notice, with an anticipated contract award date of October 1, 2025. The work must be completed between October 1, 2025 and November 20, 2025 during normal business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding federal holidays. To be eligible for consideration, contractors must demonstrate their capability to provide the required hardware, firmware, installation, parts, and labor for the PCBA upgrades, along with detailed information about company ownership, existing federal contracts, and OEM authorization. The contractor must also comply with VHA HIPAA and information security requirements while coordinating closely with on-site points of contact and submitting completion reports for each service visit.
