About this opportunity
U.S. Special Operations Command is conducting the International Special Operations Forces (ISOF) Range 2027 technology demonstration event on April 13–14, 2027, at Nevada Test and Training Range in Nevada, with a submission deadline of January 29, 2027 for the second tranche of applicants. The event is a Request for Information and market research activity; no contracts will be awarded. USSOCOM, in partnership with the Program Manager – SOF Lethality, Joint Services Small Arms Program, U.S. Army Product Director – Crew Served Weapons, and other DoD offices, invites technology demonstrations from private industry, government R&D organizations, academia, and individuals across weapons (suppressors, precision rifles, carbines), visual augmentation systems, demolitions and breaching equipment, ammunition, shoulder-launched munitions, Unmanned Lethal Strike Systems, Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems, crew-served weapons, and disruptive technologies. The event features approximately 75 spaces for live fire demonstrations and 75 spaces for non-live fire and lower Technology Readiness Level displays. Respondents submit applications via https://isofrange.com/ with an earlier first tranche deadline of October 30, 2026. Most technology categories require Technology Readiness Level 7 or higher. All respondent costs—submission, travel, demonstrations, and ammunition—are at respondent expense; USSOCOM provides range access and basic infrastructure. Respondents must comply with export control regulations (ITAR/EAR) for foreign participation and submit laser and unmanned systems worksheets where applicable.
