About this opportunity
The Air Force Nuclear Weapon Center (AFNWC) has issued a Special Notice announcing an Industry Day for the potential ICBM Development, Operations, and Sustainment (IDOS) service contract opportunity. This announcement is published under the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Nuclear Weapons Center and falls under the Engineering Services NAICS category. The IDOS contract is intended to replace the current Integration Support Contract 1.0 (ISC 1.0), which is scheduled to expire in July 2027. The government plans to utilize the General Services Administration's One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services Plus (OASIS+) contracting vehicle for this procurement. The Industry Day serves as an opportunity for AFNWC to provide industry participants with updates on the IDOS initiative and an overview of the organization's mission.
The primary purpose of this Special Notice is to invite industry participation in a comprehensive Industry Day event that will include both virtual and in-person components. Companies interested in participating must submit their RSVP through a military forms link by 6:00 PM Mountain Time on August 1, 2025. The event structure includes a virtual general session featuring pre-recorded PowerPoint presentations, requirements documents, and a Q&A template, followed by in-person one-on-one meetings scheduled for August 25-27, 2025, at Hill Air Force Base or an affiliated facility. The government has committed to publicly releasing all questions and responses from the Industry Day on SAM.gov while excluding confidential business strategies to maintain transparency and impartiality in the procurement process. This initiative represents the government's effort to engage with potential contractors early in the acquisition planning process for this critical ICBM support mission.
