About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command is procuring a comprehensive surveillance camera system installation for two unaccompanied housing buildings (750 and 751) at Little Rock Air Force Base in Arkansas. The project requires furnishing and installing 75 total cameras, 4 Network Video Recorders with 40TB hard drives, and 3 monitors to replace non-existent surveillance systems that are critical for responding to vandalism, thefts, vehicle damage, and sexual assaults in conjunction with Security Forces' Investigations division. The contractor must provide 8MP cameras with night vision capabilities and 110-degree views, along with 24-channel NVRs operating at 30 FPS in 4K resolution. The evaluation process will assess site visit attendance, rank offers by price, and conduct technical capability evaluations based on past performance with similar projects within the last three years. The solicitation has been amended multiple times, with the current proposal submission deadline extended to September 12, 2025.
This opportunity is set aside for total small business participation under NAICS code 334290 (Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing). No incumbent contractors are identified in the solicitation materials. The project must be completed within 120 calendar days from contract award, with work performed Monday through Friday from 0800 to 1600, excluding weekends and federal holidays. The installation will create a standalone surveillance system with both interior and exterior cameras across three floors in each building, with all Network Video Recorders centralized in the Admin Office monitoring station and connected via a closed network infrastructure. Work must be coordinated with ongoing building renovations, as the dormitory buildings are currently under construction with an estimated completion date of April 30, 2025, requiring the contractor to begin installation only after the buildings are turned over to the government.
