About this opportunity

The Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Omaha (ENDIST Omaha) is seeking a contractor to provide lawn maintenance services for the Fort Peck Dam Area, including mowing, trimming, and debris removal across three separate tracts: the Powerplant, Administration Building, and Interpretive Center. This is a non-personal services contract classified under NAICS code 561730 (Landscaping Services) with a small business size standard of $9.5 million. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about March 25, 2026, with proposals due on or about April 8, 2026. While the notice does not specify detailed evaluation criteria, interested contractors are invited to arrange their own site visits to inspect the work areas prior to proposal submission. The government has indicated that the formal solicitation will contain detailed Performance Work Statement specifications and contact information for arranging site visits.

This procurement is designated as a 100% small business set-aside, restricting competition to firms meeting the size standard criteria. The contract period of performance extends from May 1, 2026, through April 30, 2031, with four option years following an initial base year. However, services are required only during the active periods from May 1 through September 30 of each year, with inactive winter months from October 1 through April 30 when mowing and trimming services are not needed. The notice does not identify any incumbent contractor or provide specific budget information or award values. Prospective bidders should note that the notice was posted on March 12, 2026, allowing approximately four weeks for proposal preparation before the April 8, 2026 deadline.
