About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command is seeking repair services for Energy Management and Control System (EMCS) controls at Fort Eustis, Virginia. The procurement involves replacing sixteen defective UNT controllers with new CGM04060 controllers, installing sixteen new zone temperature network sensors, re-terminating N2 bus wiring, and programming the new controllers to match existing operational sequences at Barracks B696, B697, and B698 in the 600 Block. The Air Force intends to award a non-competitive, sole-source contract to Johnson Controls, Inc., based on system compatibility requirements and the company's proprietary EMCS platform integration capabilities. The Government reserves the right to conduct competitive procurement based on responses received; late submissions will not be considered.

No set-aside designation has been applied to this procurement. Johnson Controls, Inc. is the intended sole-source awardee based on its existing long-term base-wide EMCS services contract and exclusive system compatibility requirements. The estimated contract cost is listed as $0.00, with work to be performed Monday through Friday from 0800 to 1700 Eastern Standard Time, excluding federal holidays, at Langley AFB located at 14 Burrell Street, Building 67, Langley AFB, Virginia 23665.
