PM encompasses services, inspections, and adjustments necessary to keep the maintained piece of equipment or facility item in proper working order.2. Unscheduled Maintenance (UM). This service is defined as maintenance activities or repairs triggered by unexpected equipment failures or issues that pose an immediate threat to safety, property, or operations. It requires immediate attention and action to mitigate risks and restore functionality. These services will be initiated by the Government.3. Emergency Maintenance (EM). This service is defined as maintenance activities triggered by unexpected equipment failures or facility issues that pose an immediate threat to safety, property, or operations.
