The 87 Contracting Squadron intends to award a contract for full food service on the Dix area of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. The proposed performance period is 1 May 20 through 30 Apr 21 with four 1-year option periods.
This is a non-personnel services contract to provide all personnel, supervision and any items and services necessary to deliver full food service to seven dining facilities in accordance with the performance work statement. This acquisition is 100% small business set-aside with priority given to Randolph-Sheppard Act participants.

Dix Full Food Service
This is a synopsis and does not obligate the government to award; the government reserves the right to withdraw the synopsis and any forthcoming solicitation without due compensation to potential offerors. This announcement does not constitute a request for proposal (RFP). The base period is from 1 May 20 through 30 Apr 21 with four one-year option periods. The solicitation shall incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the most current federal acquisition circular. This action is being procured under NAICS code 722310 (Full Food Service) and related small business standard - $38,500,000. The solicitation is expected as a RFP issued as a 100% small business set-aside with priority under the Randolph-Sheppard Act.
The government is contemplating award of a requirements contract with fixed priced task orders for full food service operation of seven dining facilities on the Dix area of Joint Base McGuire- Dix-Lakehurst. The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, and all other resources for dining facility management; menu planning, food preparation, serving and replenishing food, order, receipt and storage of subsistence items, cleaning of the dining facilities, equipment operation, headcount, cashier duties, remote food service, inventories of subsistence, grounds maintenance of government property and quality control. This is a commercial acquisition.
All prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management in order to do business with the government. The solicitation will be issued on or about 4 Mar 19. The due date for proposals will be posted in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities web page; (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/). Paper copies will not be made available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon interested contractors to monitor the Fed Biz Opps web page frequently for updates/amendments to the solicitation.
