About this opportunity

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Risk Analysis, Planning & Information Directorate (RAPID) has published a Special Notice for a virtual Risk MAP Information Technology Operations & Maintenance (Risk MAP IT O&M) Support Industry Day scheduled for June 5, 2024. The event aims to identify potential cloud-knowledgeable vendors with experience using Amazon Web Services (AWS) in a federal environment to operate and maintain FEMA's legacy applications while applying modernization practices.

The purpose of this industry day is for RAPID to provide an overview of the Risk MAP IT O&M support capabilities and upcoming procurement opportunities. Attendees will hear briefings on RAPID and the Risk MAP IT program. All questions must be submitted in writing by July 1, 2024, and registration will close upon reaching maximum capacity. FEMA is seeking both large and small businesses with a focus on service and supply related industries to participate in this information-only event. The goal is to achieve the objectives of the Risk MAP program through continuous, systematic improvements to FEMA's system architecture, technology stack, and code base for over 40 applications and sub-applications hosted on its Enterprise AWS Cloud.
