About this file
This document is an informational flyer about an upcoming RAPID Risk MAP IT O&M Industry Day hosted by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) on June 5, 2024. The event will provide an overview of FEMA's Risk Mapping, Assessment, and Planning (Risk MAP) Information Technology Operations & Maintenance Support program and potential upcoming procurement opportunities.
The Industry Day will be held virtually via Zoom and is open to industry representatives, prospective vendors, and both large and small businesses with a focus on service and supply related industries. The goal is to identify potential cloud-knowledgeable offerors experienced in using Amazon Web Services (AWS) in a federal environment to operate and maintain FEMA's legacy applications while applying modernization practices. FEMA is seeking to achieve the goals of the Risk MAP program through continuous, systematic improvements to the system architecture, technology stack, and code base for over 40 applications and sub-applications hosted on FEMA's Enterprise AWS Cloud. All questions must be submitted in writing by July 1, 2024, and registration will close upon reaching maximum capacity. The event presentation and Q&As may be posted to SAM.gov at a later date.
