About this opportunity

The Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Eustis is seeking a contractor to expand the Distributed Antenna System (DAS) at the Bradley Barracks of the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York. The solicitation requires the contractor to provide a new DAS design that reuses as much existing equipment as possible to account for changes in building materials during a recent renovation, in order to bring the DAS performance in line with the original design standards. The contractor shall create an Installation Design Plan, install and configure the expanded DAS system, and provide final as-built drawings. Responses are due by July 29, 2024, and the contract will be awarded as a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable source selection.

The requirement has been set-aside for small businesses. The current incumbent or contractor is not identified. The government has provided access to the existing DAS design, floor plans, and heat mapping information. The period of performance is 45 days from the date of award, and the place of performance is West Point, NY.

The United States Military Academy currently utilizes a Distributed Antenna System (DAS) across the Cadets Barracks, Academic and Administrative buildings. A Distributed Antenna System design was provided for the Bradley Barracks barring the building design and materials would remain the same as the original building materials used before renovation occurred. During the renovation process alternative materials were used and the performance of the Distributed Antenna System now does not meet the design standards.

Further details will be found in the full solicitation which will be attached in SAM.gov.
