About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command is seeking a contractor to replace the Climate Control Unit (CCU) Air Handler at Building 4315 on Dyess Air Force Base. The requirement includes the removal and disposal of the existing equipment, procurement and installation of a new equivalent unit, and verification and testing of the east side CCU system. Contractors must comply with the Statement of Objectives and reference the current CCU system as-built drawings. An optional site visit is scheduled for July 15, 2024, and quotes are due by July 23, 2024 at 12:00pm Central Time. The evaluation will be based solely on the lowest price of technically acceptable items.
This procurement is set aside for Small Businesses under NAICS code 238220 with a $19M size standard. The government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract and reserves the right to cancel the solicitation. The period of performance should be minimized, and the work must be scheduled during normal business hours to avoid disruption. The contractor is responsible for disposal of all waste and debris and restoration of the work area.

This requirement is for the replacement of the Climate Control Unit (CCU) Air Handler. This includes removal/disposal of existing equipment, the procurement of the new unit and install, connection and integration of the new unit. Must also verify and test the east side CCU system to ensure it is working correctly after installation.
Please refer to RFQ document for optional site visit information on July 15, 2024 at 10:00am Central Time. The site visit is recommended and will allow plenty of time for contractors to gather information needed to provide the Government an accurate quote.
Please also refer to the Statement of Objectives and Current CCU System As-Builts(attached) for the specifications.
