About this opportunity

The Indian Health Service is soliciting quotes for comprehensive fire alarm monitoring and inspection services at the Wewoka Indian Health Center in Oklahoma. The procurement requires a contractor to provide continuous 24/7 monitoring services along with quarterly inspections of tamper switches, semi-annual water flow testing, and annual inspections of fire alarm panels, smoke detectors, pull stations, and audio/visual notification systems across both the administration and clinic buildings. Technical requirements include maintaining detailed inspection reports, providing a maintenance agreement covering parts and labor, and conducting stand pipe sprinkler gauge testing every five years. The evaluation will be conducted on a best value basis with technical requirements weighted more heavily than pricing considerations. Quotes must be submitted by August 22, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. CDT via email to the contracting officer.

This opportunity is designated as a 100% Buy Indian Set Aside, restricting competition to qualifying Indian-owned businesses. The contract structure includes a base year period of performance spanning 12 months from the date of award, with four additional 12-month option years available, potentially extending the total contract duration to five years. Services will be performed at the Wewoka Indian Health Center located in Wewoka, Oklahoma, covering two separate buildings with distinct fire safety systems requiring different levels of monitoring and inspection. The administration building contains more complex addressable systems including a Notifier fire alarm panel, while the clinic building utilizes conventional fire alarm components. Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management and submit completed price schedules along with past performance documentation.
