About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command is seeking quotes for the demolition of Building 85 at Altus Air Force Base in Oklahoma. The contractor will be responsible for providing all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to demolish the current pool slide and structure, remove the debris, and level the site. The contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose quote is most advantageous to the government, considering price and technical acceptability. Quotes must be submitted by September 10, 2024, and any questions are due by August 14, 2024.
This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside acquisition under NAICS code 238910 for Site Preparation Contractors. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submitting quotes, which are requested to be valid for as long as possible due to the current lack of available funding. 5 Sep 24 - After review, the customer has made a change to Question 32. Specifically, the PI range is being changed from 8-12 to 4-12. Here is the question and answer as it now appears:
32.Please clarify or specify the type of fill soil required to fill the void at the site after demolition is complete
a.A clean sand or dirt with a PI range of 4-12 free of stones 2” or larger and vegetation.
