About this opportunity
The Department of the Interior's Interior Business Center is seeking a contractor to provide preventative maintenance and repair services for a vehicle barrier system consisting of 24 electric bollards and 12 gate arms located at the Stewart L. Udall Building, also known as the Main Interior Building, in Washington, D.C. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price services contract with a 10-month base period and four 12-month option periods. Quotes are due by July 23, 2024, and the government intends to evaluate and award the contract on a lowest price technically acceptable basis, potentially conducting exchanges if necessary.
This procurement is a total small business set-aside with a $25 million size standard. The estimated value for the base period is $2,500, with the same amount for each option year. The contractor will be solely responsible for performing the required services, which include monthly, semiannual, and annual preventative maintenance as well as any necessary repairs up to $2,500. The period of performance is from August 8, 2024 to June 7, 2029, and the place of performance is the Stewart L. Udall Building in Washington, D.C.

This is a non-personnel services contract to provide/perform preventative maintenance to the vehicle barrier system, consisting of twenty-four (24) electric bollards and twelve (12) gate arms, at the Stewart L. Udall Building otherwise referred to as the Main Interior Building (MIB). The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible for to the Government.
