The procurement seeks a specialized blood monitoring and dispensing system that can remotely secure, control, and dispense blood products at the point of care while integrating with the Military Health System Genesis platform. The deadline for capability responses is August 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM Pacific Time, giving potential vendors only one day to respond.

The system will be deployed at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington, and represents a lifecycle replacement for existing end-of-life equipment. The implementation includes comprehensive project management services, technical installation and configuration support, and extensive training programs covering both administrative functions and clinical point-of-care operations. The BloodTrack system features advanced security capabilities including AES 256-bit encryption, controlled access to protected health information, and real-time monitoring of refrigerator contents for chain of custody maintenance.
