The contract will be awarded on a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) basis and involves replacing and repairing current fuel system automation components, integrated SCADA network, software, and supporting infrastructure. The project will be entirely conducted at the Pituffik Space Force Base located in Avannaata, Greenland, presenting potential logistical challenges for contractors. While specific award value details are not explicitly stated in the synopsis, the complexity of the AFHE solution refresh and the extended 36-month performance period suggest a significant contract opportunity. The government's primary objective is to acquire the necessary supplies and services to successfully modernize the fuel handling automation infrastructure. Contractors will need to demonstrate technical capabilities in system integration, automation, SCADA networks, and software implementation to be competitive in this procurement.
