About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center is procuring multi-platform sustainment engineering services support through Amendment 0003 to solicitation FA8119-25-R-0011, effective March 13, 2026. This procurement seeks engineering assistance and solutions from an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to support the 848 SCMG engineering organization with specialized expertise on issues affecting structures, avionics, accessories, ground support, and commodity items used across multiple weapon systems including the B-1, B-52, C-17, E-3, F-15, KC-135, KC-46, and AGM-86. The critical requirement is that the contractor must have access to or the ability to obtain access and rights to proprietary OEM internal data systems and specialized analytical tools necessary to perform Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness (OSS&E) analysis when the Government's existing data packages are insufficient. This is designated as a sole source requirement to Boeing Company, Inc. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of Amendment 0003 by March 23, 2026, and failure to do so may result in offer rejection. The amendment incorporates DFARS Clause 252.232-7007, establishing incremental funding parameters with specific notification requirements when funding approaches 85 percent of the allotted amount.
This procurement carries no set-aside designation and is awarded as a sole source contract to The Boeing Company, Inc., as the only contractor with the requisite access to OEM internal data systems for the specified weapon platforms. The contract will be performed at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with the work classified under NAICS 541330 (Engineering Services) and PSC 1560 (Airframe Structural Components). The specific award value and contract timeline are not disclosed in the amendment, though the contract operates under incremental funding provisions requiring the contractor to notify the Contracting Officer at least 90 days before expending 85 percent of allotted funds. The Contracting Officer will have authority to terminate applicable line items if additional funding is not allotted within specified timeframes, and the Government retains standard termination rights for convenience and default throughout the contract period.
