The National Aeronautics and Space Administration Ames Research Center is seeking engineering support services through the Aerospace Research, Technology, and Simulation contract. The contractor will operate, maintain, and upgrade simulation facilities and persistent software systems located at NASA Ames and Langley Research Centers to support aeronautics and technology mission objectives. The contract is a hybrid firm-fixed-price and cost-plus-fixed-fee arrangement for a base year and four option years, with task orders issued on both a cost reimbursement and fixed price basis. Comments on the draft RFP were due February 19, 2024 with the final RFP anticipated on March 6th and proposals due 30 days later.

The period of performance is a base year starting in October 2024 with four option years, and the contract value is estimated between $25,000 and $75 million in task order obligations over five years. You are invited to review and comment on the National Aeronautics and Space Administration
(NASA) Ames Research Center’s (ARC) Aerospace, Research, Technology, and Simulations
(ARTS) solicitation. The principal purpose of this requirement is to provide support to NASA
ARC in the performance of aeronautics and technology mission objectives, particularly the
engineering services to operate, maintain, and upgrade the simulation facilities and the persistent
software facilities located at ARC and the Flight Simulation Facilities at Langley Research
Center (LaRC).
The Government is holding a virtual Industry Day for the acquisition on February 13, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Pacific Time. If you wish to attend, please email the Contracting Officer and the Contract Specialist with the following information. Attendees are limited to three representatives per organization.
