About this opportunity

The Air Force Research Laboratory seeks proposals through a Broad Agency Announcement for the Aeroscience Collaborative Research and Development program. The program will conduct research and development involving the transfer of novel aerospace technologies from basic research organizations to the military laboratory environment. Projects must assess new technology capabilities against current standards, quantify integrated aerospace system performance with innovative components, and transfer technologies with accompanying data and analysis to industry and military end users. Proposals are due by January 17, 2023 and will be evaluated based on technical and management approaches, staff qualifications, and reasonable estimated costs.

There is no set-aside designation for this opportunity. Research areas involve computational aerodynamics and multiscale unsteady flow simulations applied to all flight regimes. The work will take place at AFRL facilities in Area B, Building 146 on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base over an estimated 111-month base period plus two 24-month option extensions, with total projected funding of $31.5 million to be awarded as a cost-plus-fixed-fee completion contract. Selected offerors must be eligible to access export-controlled information and demonstrate appropriate security and operations security measures.
