About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command, Air Force Sustainment Center is conducting market research and seeking vendor interest for the production and delivery of a total potential minimum quantity of nine (9) and a maximum quantity of eighty-three (83) Tool Trailers to the ABDR Technical Support Office located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The trailers will be used to support the Aircraft Battle Damage Repair (ABDR) program and its aircraft maintenance technicians. The government has issued a pre-solicitation notice, including a Statement of Work detailing the specific requirements for the trailers, as well as attachments related to bench stock listings, prototype photos, and airlift certification data. Interested vendors are requested to provide information on their capabilities to meet the anticipated contract requirements by the submission deadline of June 11, 2024.
This requirement supersedes two previous Requests for Information (RFIs) that sought a lower total quantity of trailers. The anticipated contract type is a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with a base year and nine one-year options. The applicable NAICS code is 336214 with a size standard of 1,000 employees, and the government is considering a small business set-aside. No incumbent contractors have been identified, and the government has not provided any budget ranges or award value estimates in the pre-solicitation notice.
