About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network 15, is issuing a sources sought/request for information for dental imaging equipment to be installed at the Rolla Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Rolla, Missouri, with responses due by July 10, 2026. This is a pre-solicitation notice only and does not constitute a binding solicitation; however, the VA encourages submission of pricing, capabilities, and market information for planning purposes in accordance with FAR Part 15.201(e).
The VA seeks one dental imaging software license expansion; one cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) 3D X-ray unit capable of 2D panoramic, 3D CBCT, and optional cephalometric imaging; seven wall-mounted dental radiographic units with 7 mA tube current and extended arm reach of at least 81 inches; and seven dental imaging sensor kits in pediatric (Size 1) and adult posterior (Size 2) configurations. The CBCT system must deliver high-resolution voxels of 75–150 microns or better, field-of-view options from approximately 5x5 cm to 16x17 cm, metal artifact reduction technology, and DICOM 3.0 compliance with VA PACS integration capability. Wall-mounted radiographic units require high-frequency DC X-ray generators at 60–70 kVp with rectangular collimation and FDA/NCRP radiation safety compliance. Intraoral sensors must use CMOS technology with minimum 20 line pairs/mm resolution and TWAIN and DICOM compliance with USB connectivity.
Responses should include company information, business size classifications, manufacturer or distributor status, GSA schedule or federal contract vehicle availability, manufacturing location, and UEI number. NAICS code 339114 applies with a 750-employee size standard. Contact Tracie Raggs at tracie.raggs@va.gov.
