About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network 10, issued a Notice of Intent to Sole Source a ScriptPro Work Management System upgrade at the Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center in Columbus, Ohio, with a response deadline of September 1, 2026, at 5:00 PM Eastern Time. This is a sole-source procurement under FAR 6.302-1(a) based on the determination that only one responsible source can satisfy agency requirements.

The VA Central Ohio Healthcare System Pharmacy operates proprietary ScriptPro robotic filling cabinets; software and hardware upgrades must be brand-specific for compatibility with existing equipment and to meet regulatory and patient safety standards. Market research concluded that ScriptPro USA Inc. (5828 Reeds Road, Mission, Kansas 66202-2740) is the only identified source capable of providing the required upgrades, and no third-party resellers or alternative vendors have been identified for ScriptPro equipment and service contracts. The procurement includes a conversion kit with updated operating system, camera installation, image storage upgrades, filling station hardware refreshes, and one year of support services. The estimated acquisition amount exceeds the micro-purchase threshold but does not exceed the simplified acquisition threshold.

Other vendors may submit capabilities statements by the September 1 deadline to Contracting Officer Gina P. Crank at gina.crank@va.gov. The Government will use submitted information solely to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement; the final decision to sole source or compete remains at the Government's discretion. No formal solicitation is currently available.
