About this file
This is a Special Notice of Intent to Sole Source a procurement for Script Pro Upgrade services at the Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center in Columbus, Ohio. The Department of Veterans Affairs, through VISN 10, intends to negotiate directly with ScriptPro USA Inc. (located at 5828 Reeds Road, Mission, Kansas 66202-2740) under FAR 6.302-1(a) authority, citing that only one responsible source can satisfy the agency's requirements. The VA Central Ohio Healthcare System Pharmacy currently operates the ScriptPro Work Management System with proprietary robotic filling cabinets, and the market research team determined that only ScriptPro brand-specific upgrades will be compatible with existing equipment and meet regulatory and patient safety requirements. No third-party resellers or alternative sources have been identified for ScriptPro equipment and service contracts.
The procurement includes a conversion kit with updated operating system, camera installation, image storage upgrades from the robotic cabinets, filling station hardware refreshes, and one year of support services. The estimated acquisition amount is over the micro-purchase threshold but does not exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. Interested vendors may submit capabilities statements by the response deadline of September 1, 2026, at 5:00 PM Eastern Time to Contracting Officer Gina P. Crank at gina.crank@va.gov. The Government will use this information solely to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement, with the final decision to sole source or compete remaining at the Government's discretion. No formal solicitation is currently available.
