The VA plans to award a single five-year Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract with five one-year ordering and pricing periods, structured as a firm-fixed price agreement. The procurement falls under the Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing category, with a small business size standard of 800 employees, and is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. While no specific set-aside has been designated, the contract will utilize Product Service Code (PSC) 6515 for Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies. The solicitation covers VISNs 5, 9, 10, 12, 15, 16, and 23, indicating a potentially significant geographical scope for the contract.
