The system must include additional features such as knot/kink/cut sensor with auto stop, tension meter, powered coil pan, and coiling pan sensor, with a maximum cable marking capacity of 150 yards. The government will use Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation procedures, awarding based on technical acceptance by the mission partner and fair and reasonable pricing. Questions were due by August 27, 2025, at 0900 CST, with quotes due September 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM, submitted as PDF documents limited to five pages.
This procurement is set aside for Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) under NAICS code 333517 with a 500-employee size standard. The current CAPRIS 50-100PCS laser wire marker referenced in Technical Order 1-1A-14 chapter 8 will have manufacturer support discontinued in 2026, with the Air Force Career Field Functional Manager recommending the Nove 50-100i series as a direct replacement. The contract requires delivery no later than February 15, 2026, with the government accepting early delivery and the customer handling installation independently. The contractor must provide a minimum six-month warranty covering materials and workmanship defects, with complete delivery expected within six months after purchase order receipt. Performance will occur at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita, Kansas, supporting the Air Force's Electrical & Environmental career field operations.
