About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Test Center, through its AEDC Procurement Branch in Arnold, Tennessee, is soliciting quotes for two ENETX-MA4 Real-Time Ethernet converter appliances with interface cables, with quotes due November 20, 2026 at 10:00 AM Central Time. The Set Aside line reads No Set-Aside Used, but the attachments restrict the buy to genuine Alta Data Technologies brand-name products under a single-source determination approved October 27, 2026 by Contracting Officer Mikayla Roland. The determination values the acquisition at $30,998.00.

The procurement is a firm-fixed-price commercial products acquisition under FAR Part 12, with NAICS 334418 and PSC 5998. Delivery is to the 746th Test Squadron at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico 88330 (Attn: Franco Gonzalez, Building 1265), supporting the Ultra High Accuracy Reference System for the 704th Test Group and 746th Test Squadron. Inspection and acceptance occur at the contractor's facility and at destination. Delivery is due within 10 weeks after receipt of order. The requirement covers two ENETX-MA4-2F4 converter appliances, two ENETXCAB-MA4-J1-01 MIL-STD-1553 power cable assemblies, and two ENETXCAB-MA4-J2-02 ARINC-429 cable assemblies.

Technical requirements include two channels of dual redundant MIL-STD-1553 with full-function BC/mRT and Mon capability, four shared Tx/Rx ARINC-429 channels, and two Rx/two Tx selectable ARINC-717 channels. The hardware must meet VITA 47 Vibration Class V2 and Operating Shock Class OS1 under MIL-STD-810G, RTCA DO-160G Level 3 lightning-induced transient protection, and RoHS compliance. Power is 5-32 VDC or MIL-STD-704F 28VDC. Section II must contain technical documentation demonstrating compliance with all minimum requirements, and mere statements of compliance are insufficient. Alternate brands are technically unacceptable.

Award goes to the responsible source offering a technically acceptable quote at a fair and reasonable price, using commercial pricing techniques. Section I requires company information, SAM.gov registration confirmation, a total firm-fixed-price quote with shipping (FOB Destination), and proposed delivery days after receipt of order. Quotes must remain valid for at least 60 days and be submitted electronically to Mikayla Roland (mikayla.roland@us.af.mil) and Contract Specialist Lindsay Jones (lindsay.jones.5@us.af.mil). The Non-Manufacturer Rule does not apply because the value is below the $350,000 Simplified Acquisition Threshold. CMMC certification is not applicable because no Controlled Unclassified Information will be processed or stored.
