This solicitation, issued by the Department of State, requires comprehensive cleaning and inspection of kitchen equipment, exhaust systems, ventilation, refrigeration units, and fire safety equipment. The contract will be a firm fixed-price type with a base year and four optional one-year extensions, with services to be performed bi-annually on Fridays to minimize kitchen disruption. Potential contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and will be evaluated based on lowest price, acceptable, and responsible offeror criteria. The solicitation documents must be submitted by April 22, 2025, at 17:00 local time, with a pre-quotation conference scheduled for April 10, 2025, at 09:30 AM Namibian time.

The solicitation is not set aside for any specific category of businesses and will be open to all qualified contractors. While no specific incumbent contractor is mentioned, the contract requires detailed technical and commercial proposals including company profiles, references, and key personnel information. Though a specific award value is not explicitly stated, the contract will be payable in Namibian Dollars and cover comprehensive maintenance services for the two kitchen locations in Windhoek, Namibia. The services will include deep cleaning of all kitchen equipment, mechanical components, and fire safety systems, with a performance standard limiting customer complaints to no more than one per month. The contract's scope includes semi-annual maintenance, with contractors responsible for providing trained technicians, necessary equipment, and comprehensive documentation of their service activities.
