About this file
This is a Contractor Warranty Letter issued by the Clay County Board of County Commissioners in Florida for disaster debris removal services. The warranty document obligates the contractor to ensure all labor, materials, and work performed comply with the Contract Documents and authorized modifications, and guarantees that work will be free from defects due to defective materials or workmanship for a two-year period from the Date of Completion and acceptance by the County. The contractor must remedy all defects arising from improper materials, workmanship, or arrangement at its sole expense and must respond to warranty calls from the Owner within twenty-four hours of notification. The warranty excludes work that has been abused or neglected by the owner, damage caused by Acts of God, and normal wear and tear, and does not preclude or replace additional warranties required by the Contract Documents.
The warranty letter requires the contractor to provide signature, printed name, and date fields for execution. This standard form warranty applies to the broader Request for Bids RFB #25/26-018 for disaster debris removal services, which involves potential debris volumes exceeding 100,000 to several hundred thousand cubic yards depending on disaster severity. The contract carries a five-year initial term with two optional one-year renewal periods at the County's discretion, mobilization required within 24 to 144 hours of Notice to Proceed, and all work funded through Federal Emergency Management Agency Public Assistance Grant Program or other federally funded sources requiring compliance with federal regulations including 2 CFR Part 200, Davis-Bacon Act prevailing wage requirements, and Copeland Anti-Kickback Act provisions.
