About this file
This document provides details for a federal construction contract opportunity to build a General Purpose Maintenance Facility at Fort Campbell, KY. The project includes vehicle maintenance facilities, organizational vehicle parking, building information systems, fire protection and alarm systems, an Intrusion Detection System installation, and connection to an Energy Monitoring Control System. Supporting facilities incorporate site development, utilities, lighting, paving, drainage, landscaping and signage. Measures will comply with DoD Minimum Antiterrorism standards and accommodate individuals with disabilities. Facilities are designed for a 40-year lifespan per UFC requirements including energy efficiencies. The contract duration is 760 calendar days with an estimated value between $25-100 million. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District will issue a Request for Proposal as a Firm-Fixed-Price contract under NAICS 236220. The acquisition is full and open with evaluations using Best Value Trade Off including past performance, technical, small business participation and price factors. Discussions are not intended but may be conducted if in the Government's interest.
