About this file

This justification and approval document requests sole source approval for Clarksville Gas to provide gas utility installation and connection fees for the construction of a general purpose maintenance facility at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. The justification cites that Clarksville Gas is the sole provider of gas utility services for the Fort Campbell installation as the reason for sole sourcing without competition. No other efforts were made to obtain competition given Clarksville Gas is the privatized utility system owner for the area. The contracting agency is the US Army Engineer District, Corps of Engineers, Louisville, Kentucky.
