About this file

This document contains a proposed small business participation plan and details of a related federal contract opportunity for construction and design services. The small business participation plan requests information on the prime contractor's size and categories, total contract value, percentage of work to be performed by large and small businesses, and dollar values and percentages planned for subcontracts to various small business types. It also requires a list of principal supplies and services to be provided by small businesses.

The federal contract opportunity is a solicitation to construct a military working dog facility at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, including 48 kennels, a veterinary clinic, classrooms, offices and supporting infrastructure. It requires demolition of existing buildings, HVAC, fire protection, security, sustainability measures, building information systems, and accessibility compliance. Furnishings, equipment, interior design, electronic security, and audiovisual services are also included. The facility is to be designed for a 40-year minimum life in accordance with DoD criteria.
