Offerors submitting a Bid proposal in response to Invitation to Bid (IFB) W912HY24B0021 will be required to submit two (2) separate Bid Schedules with their Bid proposal. The two (2) Bid Schedule submittals are outlined as follows:
The first Bid Schedule matches the Schedule 1 and Options 1-9 CLIN Structure provided within the IFB
Solicitation with CLIN numbers, total prices per CLIN, and overall total price fill-in information for
Schedule 1, and each Option 1-9 separately (e.g., overall total price for Option 1, overall total price for
Option 2, etc.). This is commonly referred to as the “Bid Schedule”.
The second Bid Schedule will be known as Schedule B (Attachment 0003). Schedule B will be provided as an Attachment to the IFB solicitation with various General and Administrative (G&A) expenses to be filled in with total prices and/ or information. Information and/or pricing shall be filled in for each item listed out in Schedule B (such as total overall fuel price and profit calculations) This is commonly referred to as “Schedule B”.
The Schedule B is for informational purposes only (and will not be published during Bid Opening or released for public view/use; nor will it be used as an additional evaluation factor of award) that will be used to obtain better insight into pricing calculations for the determination of fair and reasonable pricing for acquisitions using FAR part 14 - Sealed Bidding procedures. Schedule B is for price calculations of profit and fuel, as noted above. Again, the Schedule B Bid Schedule will NOT be released to the public during Bid Opening or released for public view/use and will not be used as an additional evaluation factor in this procurement.
The Government will also be preparing two (2) separate Independent Government Estimates (IGEs), to match the two separate Bid Schedules mentioned above. However, only the IGE that correlates with the
Schedule 1 and Options Bid Schedule format will be published during Bid Opening. The second IGE that correlates with the Schedule B Bid Schedule is for internal Government use only and will solely be used to compare with the offeror-submitted Schedule B. Again, the Schedule B IGE will NOT be released to the public during Bid Opening or released for public view/use and will not be used as an additional evaluation factor in this procurement.
A bid proposal will not be considered complete and/or valid without the two (2) separate Bid Schedules being provided at the time of Bid Opening. Use the provided Bid Schedule in the SF1442 solicitation to fill-out the Schedule 1 and Options Bid Schedule. Use the provided Attachment 0003 to fill-out the
Schedule B Bid Schedule. Be sure to submit both with your final bid proposal.
