SITE VISIT (CONSTRUCTION) PERSONNEL ACCESS
(a) The clauses at 52.236-2, Differing Site Conditions, and 52.236-3, Site Investigations and Conditions Affecting the Work, will be included in any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation. Accordingly, offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed.
(b) An organized site visit has been scheduled for 1000 hours (10:00 AM) on 08 November 2021, at Manama (Naval Support Activity), Bahrain. Contractors should meet outside the pedestrian walk-in gate, just south of the turnaround at the end of the Awal Ave in Juffair.
Contractors are urged to inspect the site where the work will be performed, if at all possible.
However, Contractor must be aware that such an inspection will be undertaken at their own risk, and to take all due precaution in the performance of the Site Investigation. Contractor shall make their own arrangements for obtaining necessary Visas for entering the Kingdom of Bahrain.
(c) Should a Contractor decide to conduct a Site Investigation, due to security requirements, only two individuals will be permitted for the site visit. Please provide the following employee information and required documents for gate passes.
1. Memorandum to US Army Corps of Engineers requesting for unescorted personnel access with the following information.
(a) Name
(b) Company
(c) Position
(d) Nationality
(e) Contact Information
2. Copy of their Passport
3. Copy of their Bahrain CPR if they are a Bahrain Citizen/Resident
4. Copy of LMRA if they are Bahrain Resident.
5. SECNAV 5512 Form
