About this file

This is an Amendment (0001) to a federal solicitation for Lake Montauk Harbor dredging project (Solicitation Number W912DS25BA019) issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) New York District. The amendment maintains the original bid opening date of 26-Aug-2025 at 2:00 P.M. and incorporates key changes including Air Calculators for calendar years 2025 & 2026, an LMH Report, and responses to bidder questions about project specifics.

The amendment provides critical technical details about the dredging project, specifically addressing hard material excavation in the navigation channel. Key clarifications include: 15,500 cubic yards of hard material will come from the navigation channel, contractors can use various equipment (clam/conventional bucket or excavator) for boulder and rock removal, and the deposition basin has a maximum required depth of 17 feet. The document also includes detailed responses to contractor questions about material composition, excavation methods, screening requirements, and measurement/payment procedures for hard material removal.
